SPARK OF THE LIGHT is an Asian Romantasy story.

“She was supposed to be my next victim. Instead, she became the only person I would die to protect.”

Obsessed with finding his brother’s killer, elite warrior Yichen travels to a foreign land disguised as the infamous and fearsome Masked Assassin. When someone hires him to eliminate a clever maid in exchange for the information he desperately seeks, he cannot resist the intrigue or the easy kill. But the more he learns about this daring servant—who’s provoking the royal family—the more he realizes she’s probably the only person capable of apprehending him instead.

Princess Luzi is struggling to rebuild a shattered empire after her family and people were slaughtered. Determined to avenge them, she enters the enemy’s palace to save the remaining survivors. When she learns about a deadly game where her people are being hunted like animals, she intervenes. But her presence draws out the evil darkness that’s been searching for her. Instead of killing her, the calculating assassin protects her, making her suspicious of his agenda.

As betrayal, forbidden magic, and deadly secrets close in, Luzi connects to her mighty dragon and the sacred spark, which is what her enemies seek. When Luzi and Yichen are catapulted into a world beyond the palace walls and into the dragon realm, they must work together to protect each other and those they love before the darkness devours them all. This is Book 2 in the Infinara Dragons series with tropes: enemies to loves, forced proximity, hidden identity, badass princess, found family, dragons, slow burn, unique magic system, and lots of action and suspense.
